As I've started my grad school journey, I'm both looking forward to enjoying all the learning and comradely as well as hoping to finally take my place in the "real world" once it's over. But really, sometimes it's hard to imagine life without a stack of textbooks and lovely secondary sources, haha.CloudyKimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17601048610753963689noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5738525889448975913.post-48103412455529662232011-01-12T08:22:48.803-08:002011-01-12T08:22:48.803-08:00Sometimes I really miss being in school as it was ...Sometimes I really miss being in school as it was much easier to be productive then.Christinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14948701362537101656noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5738525889448975913.post-43978984106330923112011-01-12T05:09:42.996-08:002011-01-12T05:09:42.996-08:00@Melee First inch worms, now touch lamps! Sometimes I find myself squinting still at night while reading.

Haha, yes, the anticipation is annoying. I've had that happen quite a few times. You just know it's coming and it's going to freak you out. Nah, rituals are supposed to be relaxing - that's why they exist!

@hila Yes, you just can't beat the feeling of sitting back in you chair, finished completely and it's not even close to lunch time. Yes! The nighttime is the best for ideas! I always keep some kind of paper by my bed, because it never pays to let an idea go. You don't forget it, but you won't be able to articulate it the same way again. Oh, you're welcome! Your blog is a pleasure to read :D

@Lizard Hello! Haha, it's tough to start up again. I was fried after finishing last semester, and I can't say I recovered very well. However, it's nice to see all my new friends again and dunk my brain back into literature and craft studies. I'm totally a geek like that. Yes, let's! Do your best too :DCloudyKimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17601048610753963689noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5738525889448975913.post-91516221103154689572011-01-11T20:54:49.593-08:002011-01-11T20:54:49.593-08:00Ah - I don't really want to start school again...Ah - I don't really want to start school again. I'm a college student on winter break, which means my brain is still a pile of mush after finals. But I guess it can't be helped hahaha. Lets have a good semester indeed!Lizhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00533566216551110803noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5738525889448975913.post-58479966359840462182011-01-11T18:51:48.020-08:002011-01-11T18:51:48.020-08:00have a fun semester! Although ideas do mysteriously come to me late at night.

Thanks for all your great comments on my blog!Hilahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06635628613744519816noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5738525889448975913.post-51900474419607833022011-01-11T18:13:40.365-08:002011-01-11T18:13:40.365-08:00I have an old touch lamp next to me right now! Needless to say, the light woke me up - I was quite confused. :)
I'm afraid of alarms! Whenever I set them I wake up in apprehension hours before they go off. -_-

I really enjoyed reading this... I find it so soothing to read about other's lives and daily rituals and things. Is that strange?

I've been back to school for a week now. It's not so bad though, I'm homeschooled.Meleehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00848998866008289402noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5738525889448975913.post-16642417649126859722011-01-11T15:11:25.967-08:002011-01-11T15:11:25.967-08:00@elfarmy17 Thanks! Even if it is only for a few more minutes.

Wow - did you have a snow day? It's been so long... We have hurricane days here. Not as exciting, and we don't always have the day off even when one of those rainy buggers blows by. *Remembers driving on the highway during a hurricane warning, braving hell and high water to get to a certain someone's concert, haha*

@namie It surely sounds magical, but I can't lie: I still get moody. But I know myself too well to fall back onto the pillow. I try to get everything packed the night before because I'm pretty scatterbrained in the morning. Ah, and makeup and hair crawls at a snail's pace. I'm so slow.

Yes, Tuesday oasis. Well, sometimes it's calm. Sometimes it's not. But at least we have a day off :)CloudyKimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17601048610753963689noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5738525889448975913.post-35588605089885025092011-01-11T14:12:34.117-08:002011-01-11T14:12:34.117-08:00I like that your mornings are so magical. Mine are usually a frantic hurricane of pulling on clothes, packing my lunch, stuffing misc papers in my bag, omg-is-my-phone-charged, getting some eyeliner on, and throwing everything else in my closet to deal with later.

Ah. Weekday mornings.

Well, weekdays except Tuesday, my little oasis of calmness.

Though, this tuesday has turned out to be quite tiring -- but I'll just chalk it up to first week shenanigans.Namiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09918882821655746153noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5738525889448975913.post-75623250567221339362011-01-11T13:54:25.304-08:002011-01-11T13:54:25.304-08:00This reads like beautiful, poetic fiction. I wasn't sure until the end as to whether or not it was real or not.
My sister's alarm clock is loud enough that it wakes me up through the wall, so I get an extra two minutes to lie in bed until mine hits 6 o'clock. Only this morning...mine never went off. Because we didn't have any school today. Ice is awesome when you don't have to go anywhere, and I got a lot of writing/editing done today.elfarmy17https://www.blogger.com/profile/09127074008716633538noreply@blogger.com
